There is no doubt in accepting the fact that education brings about a change in social, political and cultural scenario of the country the change remains slow, but it does have a great impact on society. Education plays the role of backbone in the development of the country.

Pakistan Air Force plays a vital role in this regard. One of its branches in Quetta, Fazaia Inter College Samungli, was establish in 1981 to provide an academic environment where students could get quality education. Keeping an eye on the requirements and need of time, the institution was upgrade to Middle and SSC level in 1984 1986 respectively. In August 1990, it started functioning as an intermediate College.

The college is an English medium, non-residential,co-educational institution affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad. It caters for courses of study in Pre-medical, Pre-Engineering and General Science disciplines.

Working on its objectives, college provides well-ventilated classrooms, well- stocked library, well-equipped laboratories and two well-established computer laboratories, having updated software installed with internet facility. College provides the first aid facilities in college clinic under the supervision of Lady Doctor/Medical assistant.

The college believes in; the dictum that healthy mind is housed in the healthy body. Among games, the facilities of football, cricket, basketball, and badminton are available. Students' talent are fully explored by encouraging them to participate in healthy pursuits like debates, declamations, qirat, naat, recitation and dramas etc.

The creative efforts of the staff and students of the college are manifested in the pages of annual college Magazine Eagle Eyed" and bimonthly Newsletter "Eureka".It is hoped that many; budding talents and nascent writers will be discovered through this forum.
