<h1>Welcome to the history of Fazaia Inter College Minhas</h1>
Fazaia Inter College
Minhas Kamra initiated as FALCONS primary school on 11th April, 1988 under the
leadership of SQN Ld. Muhammad Iqbal Awan. It was only up to class
5th with 35 students' .In 1989 the school was upgraded to middle school. Later
on 19th March, 1991, the school was raised to the level of secondary school.
<h1>CONSTRUCTIVE CHANGES</h1>
On July 1991, FLT LT
KHALIQ-UZ-ZAMAN took charge and served till Oct 1993. Further the charge was
given to Flt Lt TARIQ MEHMOOD from Oct 1993-1994.The college had been working
with zeal and zest. After that Sqn Ld. Tariq Mehmood acted as the principal
during Nov 1994-Aug 1995. To meet the need of high education and a good
increase in number of students, the school was further raised to intermediate
level named as PAF FALCONS INTERMEDIATE COLLEGE MINHAS on 15th August 1995.One
of our brilliant students HAJRA of class 5th got first position in CAS Honor
Competitive Exams 1995.From Aug 1995-Jul 1996, Sqn Ld.Shahid Jameel became
principal ,who also worked hard to bring this college in limelight. Afterwards,
Sqn Ld.Nazir Ahmed took the charge in the time period of July 1996- Aug 1999.Wg
Cdr. (R) ABDUL JABBAR was selected as principal of this college. During his
time, the Library block was constructed and inaugurated on 20th Aug 1999. Along
with it, the FALCON CAFE was constructed in 2001.It was the first time in
history when Falcons College Minhas published its first Magazine INZIBAAT in
2002 in which students and teachers presented their creations and were highly appreciated.
<h1>A TURN TO LIMELIGHT</h1>
Wing Cdr. (R) ABDUL
JABBAR was replaced by WG Cdr. MUHAMMAD WASI KHAN in Oct 2002 and remained the
principal till 2006. The color of the uniform was changed from GREY to BLUE
(shirts) in 2003 whereas in 2004 college name changed from FALCONS COLLEGE to
FAZAIA INTER COLLEGE MINHAS. It became an active member of FAZAIA chain of
schools and colleges. During the same time period, a student council was also established.
Once again FAZAIA
COLLEGE MINHAS had the honor of having WG Cdr. (R) ABDUL JABBAR as a principal
from Oct 2006-June 2015. In annual inspection of Fazaia School and Colleges,
our junior section got first position and was awarded Chief of Air Staff Trophy
session 2007-08. Maintaining its reputation through hard work and dedication
our senior section also got Chief of Air Staff Trophy consecutively four times
during the session 2008-12.
On 29th June,
2009 100% result of SSC-II was declared the best with GPA of 4.74 ever since
the institution came into being. A stone of eight classrooms was laid by Air Cdre
SOHAIL AMAN in April 2009.A separate girls canteen was built in May 2012. Moreover,
the college auditorium was also established in June 2012. MR. FAROOQ HUSAIN
served the institution as acting principal during July 2015- Jan 2016.
<h2>FAZAIA MINHAS AT ITs PEAK</h2>
FAZAIA INTER COLLEGE
MINHAS is honored to have Professor AKHTER RASOOL as the head of institution
since Feb 2016. The college has been running in highlights under the leadership
of our principal, who really involves himself in the teamwork of his faculty
members. In this time period, the college not only excelled in curricular but
also in extra-curricular activities. HAFSA KAMAL got first position in FBISE
(computer group) 2016 in HSSC exams and was awarded a laptop with a cash prize
of rupees 100,000 by Chief of Air Staff SOHAIL AMAN. Our honorable principal
Professor AKHTER RASOOL was awarded PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR 2015-16 shield and
cash prize of rupees (500,000) by Chief of Air Staff SOHAIL AMAN. STAY TUNED
We won the CEATS
linguistic competition 2017and got 07 (1st) district level positions and one of
our students Aimal Jamal got first position at national level. We also actively
participated in All Pakistan Bilingual Contest. International School Award was
awarded to Ms.Sadia Butt by Deputy Chief of Air Staff (TRG) Farooq Habib; whereas,
a British Council Award was presented to Prof. Akhter Rasool by Ms.Rosemary
Hilhorst.
FIC Minhas is second
to none and it carved its name by winning the GREEN LIVING Association (Climate
contest activity 2017) Maryam NISAR won the title of Crown of Green Angel with
a cash prize of 100,000. Not only this but we also bagged FIVE GOLD Medals with
06 winning positions. We also got position in world space week and were awarded
a shield by Major General (R) Najeeb Tariq. Sohaib Murtaza of FIC Minhas won
AERO Modeling Presentation competition in 2016-17 held by Royal Aeronautical
Society Kamra. English short story writing competition was held by Common
Wealth British Council on 27th Feb 2018. Among 52 countries, we were blessed by
Almighty ALLAH for securing third position in teachers category by Ms. Sadia
Younas Butt.
