BACKGROUND AND HISTORY
The college was inaugurated on 1stJanuary,
1987 as a Model School with 136 students on the roll. Initially. In March 1989
the first batch of 10th class students appeared in SSC
examination. In July, 1991 it started functioning as an Intermediate
College.
Located in the serene and secure
surroundings of PAF Complex, E-9, Islamabad and provided with neat and
spacious building, well stocked laboratories, library and sufficient facilities
for games and sports, the college offers a wholesome academic environment to
achieve its aims and objectives. The college is an English medium,
non-residential and co-educational institution. It caters for courses of study
in Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and General Science disciplines, at
intermediate level.

the title Asia Super School
Fazaia Inter college E-9, Islamabad has won the singular honour of being titled as the "Asia Super School" by the Royal Commonwealth Society of England, which is a
true recognition of the meritorious achievements of its staff and students in
excelling as an Educational Institution.
The
Royal Commonwealth Society of England had launched a mega history project
covering the 60 years span from 1952-2012, in which the students of various
institutions had to upload information about various aspects of life, education
and history, Fazaia Students, under the able guidance of their teachers won a
five star status in most of their attempts and also scored maximum entries, on
the basis of which they were adjudged as the best in Asia and were awarded the
title of "Asia Super School", The college faculty and students participated in
the Final Ceremony which was chaired by the Queen of England, through SKYPE on14 Nov, 2012. The college has now received the certification for being the "Asia Super School" which is a due acknowledgment of the high intellectual
caliber and victorious competitive spirit of its students and teachers
The project was participated by hundreds of
institutions from 66 countries of the Commonwealth. Scoring a position among
such a multitude is a unique distinction. This achievement makes us all proud
and has been lauded by the Educational circles and parents alike
