
HISTORY OF FAZAIA COLLEGE LAHORE
In 1948 Established As (Urdu Medium) Primary
School in Airmen Barracks and Renamed
As PAF Model School (English Medium) in 1966. In 1969 the institution was
upgraded to SSC level and affiliated with Federal Board of Secondary and
Intermediate Education Islamabad. In 1987, the institution was upgraded to HSSC
level and permanent affiliation for HSSC level was granted by the same board
(FBISE). In February 2004, PAF Intermediate College Lahore was re-named as
Fazaia Intermediate College, Lahore.
Primarily, Fazaia Intermediate College Lahore
caters for the educational requirements of the children of PAF personnel
serving at PAF Base Lahore. However, available seats, if any, are also offered
to the children of other serving PAF Personnel and civilians. In general, with
an aim of participating in National Educational Programme.
